Hello everyone,

CRISS Robotics has developed a script to help teams and organizers generate diverse testing environments for ERC 2025 Challenge 1 solutions.

What it does:

  • Modifies .sdf files to place landmarks in the mars_yard environment randomly
  • Maintains controlled variation by keeping objects within a 1-unit radius of their original positions

The repository includes:

  • The randomization script
  • Documentation on finding and adding new Gazebo models

Credit: This work extends the original mars_yard model created by the Mindcloud Team.
