Clarification on onsite and onboard computer

If onboard and onsite computers are connected via IPv4 link, will they use the same ROS_DOMAIN_ID by default?

We have not finalized the setup for the next week but I’d guess yes. Same ROS_DOMAIN_ID would make sense for most setups
