Connectivity Enquiry

We are currently using ROS 2 Humble as our ROSDISTRO. Can we use the discovery server mentioned in the attached image(2), or do we have to switch to ROS 2 Jazzy(1). We are confused with that as the link related to discovery server and husernet provided in the technical handbook mentions Jazzy and Iron as compatible ROS distributions.

Currently using- Connecting ROS 2 Nodes with the Custom FastDDS XML Config File | Husarnet

We will be using the discovery server for all of the teams (keep in mind that like ~half of the setup is done on our side so we need to unify that part) so a setup with profiles file will either not be possible or inefficient (when it comes to manual configuration changes).

As per the compatibility of Humble with discovery server - I’m not sure at this moment - if you’re able to make it work it’s an option I guess - but I’ll try to confirm it next week.

Hello, out of curiosity, are there any updates on using the Humble distro?

Sorry for the late reply, I happened to be on vacation. We will be using Jazzy exclusively
