Hello! IITB Mars Rover Team here,
We have created a tool for the generation of description of objects present in an image and also predict their likelihood of being present on mars, we are excited to share the same with everyone.
Automated Image Analysis and Reporting Tool
Creating detailed reports manually for each image from a video footage can be a time-consuming task, but our new tool streamlines the entire process, freeing up valuable time for more important work. This application uses the Gemini API, to analyze images and automatically generate comprehensive, easy-to-read reports.
How It Works
The process is simple and efficient:
- Input: You provide a image to the tool.
- Analysis: The tool intelligently processes the image, identifying key objects present in it.
- Report Generation: Using Gemini, the tool identifies all the objects present in the image and creates a detailed report about them, containing the object name, it’s description and also it’s likelihood of being present on Mars as a percentage
What It Does
This tool offers a way to automatically generate the description of objects present in an image and analyze their likelihood of being present on the Mars without having to do any manual work
- Object Recognition: Identifies and labels objects, people, or items within the image
- Detailed Descriptions: Provides rich, descriptive context for the captured images and events, explaining what is happening and why it’s important.
- Likelihood of being present on Mars: Provides the likelihood of being present on Mars as a percentage.
Benefits
This tool helps you move from manual, tedious reporting to fast, automated insights. You can spend less time scrubbing through the images and more time acting on the information that truly matters.
