Request for LiDAR Placement Details and Navigation Stack Test Information

Hello Organizers,

We hope you’re doing well.

We had a quick question regarding the setup:
Could you please share the exact position of the LiDAR on the robot, particularly whether it is centrally placed and what its mounting height is? Unfortunately, during our assigned slot, we couldn’t verify this properly, as the LiDAR data wasn’t being published, and the TF in rViz only provided limited insights.

Also, if possible, could you please provide some information or insights about the test related to the Navigation Stack? This would help us better prepare our system for the upcoming test.

I went through it and had concern regarding rod/poles obstructing Lidar fov, can u just tell us if we will face problem with pc2 data detecting rod and thus making it an obstacle in the map.

The setup is configured to have a minimal distance of 0.5 meters so you should not worry about Panther chassis being visible on the obstacle map
