Hello again!
Some of the Teams have expressed a (valid in our opinion) concern about the potential unfairness of the late removal of the Challenge 2. While we don’t think there’s any actually fair method of rewarding any work done before such changes, we decided to hear your voice and do “at least something” and add a “Challenge 2 report” section to the Rulebook (actual Rulebook changes will be reflected at the later time), that’s worth 50 points in total. We’d like to see a PDF document with a description (does not have to be textual - it can contain photos, screenshots, repository links, receipts,…) with the following distinct sections:
- (30 points) What have you actually done up to this point?
- (10 points) What would have you done hadn’t Challenge 2 been cancelled?
- (10 points) Wildcard - up to you - things like have it actually made your preparations for Challenge 1 smoother, did you have any team-membership shanges due to the cancellation, etc
We’d like those reports be submitted at most a week from now but the hard deadline is end of Sunday, 20 July CEST.
Descriptions can be as vague/verbose as you like, there’s no word/page count limit.
